In Conversation With Disgraced writer Ayad Akhtar

An introduction to the thinking behind Disgraced, and an opportunity to hear the story behind the recipient of this year’s Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Ayad will be discussing his writing career, the exploration of Western Muslim identities in his work, and the impact that Disgraced has had in the US – and on his life.

Don’t miss this very special event.

In 2012 Ayad had both a sell out production of Disgraced in New York and the publication of his novel American Dervish which went on to be translated into 25 languages worldwide. Disgraced is his debut play and was recently announced as the winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
