COMMUNION

Created by the Young Company & Katie Greenall
A Bush Community Production from the 18-25 Bush Young Company
World Premiere

The 18-25 Bush Young Company invites you to take a seat at the table. Pull up a chair, get [un]comfortable and share in the occasion.

COMMUNION noun
com.mu.nion
1: an act or instance of sharing

Whether it’s a raucous family dinner, an overdue catch-up with close friends, or the quarterly board meeting – so many of life’s important moments take place when we come together around a table.

The edges of the table are scuffed, table-cloth stained, and someone’s wedged something under one of the legs, but there is much to offer and much to experience. Join us in COMMUNION as we explore cultures, traditions, and ideas through stories and food. The first production from the new 18-25 Bush Young Company – created with and directed by Katie Greenall.

Our Bush Young Company productions were made possible this year by the generous support of individuals who donated via our Big Give campaign. Our Bush Young Companies also received vital support this year from Hammersmith United Charities and The Christina Smith Foundation.

Charles Holloway OBE: From West London to the West End

Benedict Lombe’s play Shifters transferring from the Bush Theatre to the West End was a milestone moment: for the artists involved, the audiences they engaged, and the future of British theatre it will inspire. It offers a glimpse of what commercial theatre in this country could be. And as Bush audience members and supporters know,…
