ALT B: Stand With Palestinians – Messages from Gaza

Presented by White Kite Collective

“We are a grassroots group of cultural workers united in support of the Palestinian people as they confront genocide.” – White Kite Collective

Following sold out events at Tara Theatre, Arcola Theatre and Rich Mix, White Kite Collective present an evening of music, monologues, poetry and reflection.

Curated as a space for collective healing and catharsis, and intended to galvanise attendees from awareness to action, White Kite Collective are presenting this event as a fundraiser. All profits will be shared between the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund and for the Ajyal Foundation for Education. If you are unable to attend, you can still support via a donation to White Kite Collective’s fundraisers – find out more here.

White Kite Collective have dedicated this event to the memory of the Nakba, two weeks after Nakba Day on 15 May which remembers those who were killed or expelled from their homes as refugees in 1948. On this year’s Nakba Day, protests occurred across the world calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

This event is presented as part of the Bush Theatre’s ALT B programme – a platform for creatives, makers and performers across artforms.
